It was SEDA’s debut EP, “Spilled Thoughts”, that emancipated them overnight from the celebrated cover versions of well-known pop songs on YouTube and caused a stir in the Munich music scene. With a voice that is often reminiscent of the deep soul timbre of Amy Winehouse, SEDA (Turkish for “voice”) has since gathered a small but loyal community around them and made it clear far beyond the borders of Munich that their name is no coincidence. Back in 2019, SEDA proved with an outstanding performance in Hamburg that they are not just an exceptional vocal talent on the move, but also a person who likes to dance, laugh, and create. “Somewhere In Between” (2022) revealed an artist who lies somewhere in between folk, pop, and summery soul. With a degree in sound engineering and the self-confidence of an established artist, SEDA is now ready for the next level of their own musical visions. These visions are also realised both on and off stage through their representation of the non-binary community.
