Sure, these are both places where songs by the Australian quartet can usually be cooked up. Surf rock and alternative pop with infectious melodies, howling psych guitars and crunchy drums constantly shape the band's sound into a rollercoaster of emotions. Sometimes it's a highly introspective reflection on the dynamics of human relationships, while the next song is all about the festive mood after going through a tough phase. EPs such as "Crazy Days" (2017) or "Everything Is Easy" (2022) don't lack a certain irony, which Rum Jungle already like to play with. For their Reeperbahn Festival premiere this year, they are bringing a list of songs that combines the familiar strengths of previous releases with new material.
