She began as the female half of the band Idealipsticks before starting afresh as a solo artist with her debut album ‘Violencia Posmoderna’ in 2018: Eva Ryjlen is a rock musician with edge who has no problem uniting alleged contradictions in her songs. When she appeared on the radar of European feature pages and radio stations outside of Spain in 2021 with her second album ‘Onírica’, she was rightfully hailed as a hopeful for modern Spanish guitar music and immediately built on the success of her early years with Idealipsticks. Gloomy yet bittersweet, with sophisticated production and as direct as an honest diary entry, Ryjlen presents her music in an incredibly approachable way both in the studio and on stage. The fact that she's now performing new material at our venue in Hamburg marks nothing less than the start of a new chapter in her multi-faceted career.
