Dillistone
A story as improbable as it is contemporary: Morten Aamodt grew up in Copenhagen and moved to Shanghai with his parents as a young boy. Over the past few decades, clubs and studios have been set up in underground bunkers, and a hungry music scene has emerged in which Aamodt quickly gained a foothold. First, he DJed and pulled all-nighters. Mixes and remixes for renowned acts such as Dua Lipa and various podcasts followed before he made a name for himself as Dillistone and as an independent producer of exquisite tracks in the field of future bass, downtempo, and melodic house from the mid-2010s onwards with singles such as “Rude” (2016) and “Body On Fire” (2020). The turning point came in 2022, when he had more than 100 million streams behind him, earned first place in the Danish talent competition KarriereKanonen, and was basking in the success of the Shazam banger “Haunted”. Now, Dillistone is venturing onto the stage and is giving breathtaking vocal performances to his melancholic dance productions.
