Carved from the wood of LA's autonomous music scene, Zahara Jaime's dreamy slacker rock is the perfect soundtrack for warm temperatures and a day at the lake, whether alone or with friends. Raised in Highland Park and active for years as part of the duo The Simps, mainly on the West Coast, the singer, songwriter and guitarist embarked on a solo career five years ago and has already built up a loyal fan community far beyond the borders of the USA with her debut ‘Liminal Spaces’ (2022). Her sound signature didn't go unnoticed in Germany either and quickly became an insider tip among resourceful fans of dream pop and bedroom productions. Now album number three, ‘Spiral Your Way Out’ (2025), has been released and shows how deeply zzzahara has already thought her way into her sound. It is music that is both inspiring and depressing in a strange way - an introspective, not too distant dream, a feeling of nostalgia for memories that may not even be her own.
