“Our existence is an intricate dance between pain and beauty." This is how Yousef Iskandar describes the aim of his photo series Queer Souls, which has been constantly evolving since its creation in 2014. It offers a profound exploration of the queer experience, and is a tribute to the resilience and rich diversity of queer identities. Yousef Inskandar’s work invites us to experience a world of intense vulnerability paired with irrefutable strength. The series champions empathy and deep appreciation for the beauty that comes from embracing one’s authenticity, despite the difficulties faced by the community.
