But all that changed with the single “YKWIM?”, which appeared on his 2019 EP, “Bipolar”, and promptly went viral on TikTok. Millions of streams later, Kaiser – as Yot Club – is now one of the most sought-after singer–songwriters and producers in Mississippi. A mixture of bedroom pop and surf vibes with jangly indie and punk influences, his style can sound wistful and melancholic at times yet also euphoric and deeply content.
