Write to Heal | Journaling Workshop

Workshop
Location PinTBA

Writing in order to heal. Using this idea, Lena Whooo has developed a workshop format that gives participants powerful tools and methods of writing a journal to initiate individual and collective change through (self-)efficacy and thereby raise the visibility of the Black community. And the concept is catching on: all over Germany, but also in Lena’s second home of New York City, she enables BIPoC to have a cathartic writing experience.
Lena Whooo is an artist, actor and author from Berlin. After gaining a degree in literature and German studies, she completed a scholarship at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. Lena currently commutes between New York and Berlin. As a cultural project initiator and organiser, Lena aims to create places of community and question social structures. In 2022, Lena published her first book “un-fulfilled” with Novum publishers; it contains poetry and short stories about identity and freedom.
The workshop is aimed exclusively at BIPoC.
