Prismala
Jam sessions with school friends, the desire to make music, and an enthusiasm for a wide variety of stylistic languages have brought Prismala together. The trio from Berlin combine influences ranging from funk and neo-soul to indie and R’n’B to create a harmonious soundscape that evokes both summer and love. Their debut album, “Colours Of A Summer” (2017), first hit the underground scene in Berlin and brought the boys a packed outdoor concert at Drachenberg, which they organised themselves without further ado. The Prismala style successfully removes the stress of everyday urban life from people’s minds, inviting them to dance and relax without ever sounding staid. On the contrary: The band remains true to itself, combining musical sophistication with a vibe of inseparable friendship and that certain understatement that immediately arouses sympathy. Their EP “Coming To Terms” (2020) and their latest singles – “Miss Interpretation” and “Mokxa” – also show the spirit of a group at the beginning of great artistic possibilities. And soon, you will be able to say you saw them here first.
