Pacifica were already celebrated last year as a duo to keep an eye on - and not just in their Argentinian homeland. Inés Adam and Martina Nintzel sound so well-rehearsed and accomplished as if they have been living and making music together for two decades. The reality is that they only met in January 2021 and unexpectedly became sought-after musicians on all streaming platforms overnight, thanks to their bedroom covers of millennial anthems. A few months later, they were already playing sold-out club shows in New York, working on their first EP with the ironic and programmatic name "Not A Cover Band" (2022) and becoming best friends. Since then, Pacifica have been broadcasting their highly infectious mix of power pop, indie rock, and garage rock revival on radio stations across South America. Last year, they finally released their long-awaited debut album "Freak Scene" (2023) on the fledgling LA label TAG Music. From North America, they are now heading over to Hamburg.
