Sitting down in a relaxed bistro setting, looking deep into each other’s eyes and starting to draw: that’s the idea behind the Drawing Bistro. Ines Hässler, Leonie Henze and Tina Dauenhauer – the illustrators behind the Live Art Club – are responsible for this creative space. Whether it’s drawing, illustrating, spraying, tattooing or painting, the Hamburg-based artists have a passion for all things creative. But they’re just as keen to talk about it, too. What started as free online drawing lessons on Instagram during the pandemic has become a creative mission that regularly encourages people of all ages and skill levels to get creative with step-by-step instructions, workshops and installations in public spaces. The Drawing Bistro at the Reeperbahn Festival lets visitors get creative all together – just the way the Live Art Club likes it best.
