DJ MELL G has come a long way since her livestream breakthrough in the viral year 2020. From founding her own label, Juicy Gang Records, to touring the world, the German producer has created her very own sound and space. Today, DJ MELL G produces and mixes electro with occasional splashes of techno and breakbeat. She shares the floor with the big names in the scene – including everyone from DJ Stingray and Helena Hauff to Zenker Brothers and Polychain. And after co-productions with DJ Godfather, DJ Fuckoff, and Karnage Kills, she presented her first solo LP, “Issues” – her most personal project to date, which emphasises her status as a reflective producer. And she continues to initiate dialogue about mental health in the music industry, as she did in last year’s “Danke, gut” podcast here on the Reeperbahn.
