Their track “Intro” gives a preview of what the local hip-hop scene could soon be in store for: nothing less than absolute brilliance on an extraordinary level and that is often reminiscent of the cheeky attitude of Tic Tac Toe in the best possible way. clitpics like to speak in plain language in their lyrics about queer feminism, patriarchal bullshit, and their own sexuality, but they still do their own thing and have proven with other singles such as “Beckenrand” and “Queen’s Speech” that they cannot be reduced to one style or expected to meet any expectations. On the contrary: Here comes the long-overdue uprising in man–monkey land. Big time.
