Erykah Badu, Kelis, Little Simz, M.I.A – all captured through the lens of talented female photographers. The “Beat Generation – FLINTA* in Music” exhibition depicts the artistic diversity and day-to-day challenges encountered by these talented musicians in a wealth of impressive images. The works come from Hamburg photographers Andrea Preysing, Ebru Durupinar, Julia Schwendner and Shoki Shoot and are presented away from the Reeperbahn, in Ottensen. Alongside the photo exhibition, a variety-packed programme with DJ sets, readings and live acts will attract visitors to the Ottensen district archive for an entire week. Definitely worth a detour!
