While much of the world was stuck in the turmoil of the pandemic in 2020, Gina Kennedy and Devon Lougheed didn't hold back, promptly releasing a song on a weekly basis. The resulting compilation ‘52 Songs’ (2021) earned the duo from Toronto well-deserved kudos on Canada's vibrant indie scene and amply demonstrated that, following their debut EP ‘Body Feels Weird’ (2016) and songs like ‘Hear That Sound’ (2019), they'd lost none of their skill when it came to songwriting and infectious melodies. On the contrary: the pair seem able to effortlessly produce these catchy post-grunge bangers, complete with hefty, grooving riffs, without running out of ideas. Last year's ‘AHEM’ EP (2023) also proved once again that the ABM sound works better than ever - be it under headphones or on stage.
